BEC Machine maintains a documented quality assurance program that is in accordance with MIL-I-45208A and it is tailored to meet requirements of ISO 9002. (Copy available upon request)
A material traceability system is in place that complies with the NAVY NUCLEAR LEVEL ONE / SUB-SAFE requirements and is utilized for such applications.
Machining capabilities include turning up to 22" diameter to a length of 36". 4TH axis milling and 3D modeling is available up to 50" x 26" x 25".
Quality Control is monitored and maintained by our fully automated state-of-the-art METRIS coordinate measuring machine.
All gaging utilized for acceptance is calibrated in accordance with MIL-STD-45662 and is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
In-house packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073 is available. Packaging in excess of in-house capabilities can be subcontracted to our local government approved facility.
Our on-site testing capabilities include hydrostatic testing up to 10,000 PSI, pneumatic testing up to 6,000 PSI, and hydraulic burst testing up to 40,000 PSI.
